As promised, I'm going to tell you about Buck's live-in girlfriend today. This little yellow fiend is Ash. Though these two pics are when she was much younger, they appropriately show how naughty she is. First--playing fetch with Casey's dirty sock. For some reason, "Fetch" is always much more fun with dirty objects like his dirty hat, dirty socks, dirty whatevers... and if the dogs come inside and I have kept up on the house work and they can't find dirty socks or hats, Ash won't give up until she finds something to play with. And Buck is just enthralled with Ash's existence. This picture below shows the first time Buck and Ash met. Tender! Love at first sight! Ash wasn't scared at all--probably because she knew already that she was queen of the castle.
Ash just keeps Buck around to make her look good though. *wink* I think Buck really actually loves Ash though. Once, we had to keep Buck inside for a couple days after taking him to the vet to get some extra parts removed *cough* and he actually climbed on top of the dog food bin so he could see out the window in the back door--just so he could see his girlfriend. When I came in the room and saw him up on the bin like that looking down at Ash on the back porch, Buck turned around to look back at me and all of a sudden, I felt like this horrible, mean mom who won't let her kid see his girlfriend so he has to go about it all sneaky and he was just pining away for her anyways! I could see the sad look in his face. Awww... So those two are simply inseparable.
