Ouch...

I guess I totally skipped over August due to several factors:

1. It was the start of the Archery hunt. You just don't mess with archery season. It's sacred.
2. My younger sister decided to move out of my parents' house and into her boyfriend's camp-trailer. Oh yeah... WITH her boyfriend AND his ferret.
3. My sister and her boyfriend got what you might call an eviction notice from the apartment complex where they had parked said trailer and ended up having to tow it up Squaw Peak to live there for a while.
4. Later, my sister and her boyfriend found an apartment to live in which costs more per month than my sister makes BEFORE taxes (did I mention her boyfriend is unemployed???)
5. My dad called my sister's boyfriend a "dishonorable bastard" and added, "You are treating my daughter like an unpaid whore" ouch... but that was actually quite impressive coming from my dad because he rarely makes such non-peace-keeper sort of accusations...
6. My health hit a rocky patch there, and
7. I have been working more on writing my novel and less on updating my blog.

Anyways, as a round about result of the last month and a half's worth of what my parents would call "bad behavior" on my sister's part, I am suddenly not the black sheep of the family anymore! So now my parents are way super nice to me and treat me like the golden child that I never really was. Hey... there's worse things than to finally be in your parents' good graces after what... 24 years?

So... that's my brief update. Tons of family drama but at least my parents are being nice to me.

Oh yeah... sucky update... my boss and friend Josh no longer works at Axispointe so it's sad to lose a friend at work.

Time to go work on more novels and memoirs and such.
