The book I am currently reading is "Toxic Parents: Overcoming Their Hurtful Legacy and Reclaiming Your Life" by Susan Forward and it is a real page turner--seriously.
When I was only a few pages into this book, I realized there was sooo much good information in there, that I started reading it from the beginning again, this time with a blue highlighter pencil in hand so I could mark all the good passages I liked (either they relate directly to something I went through myself or it is something I want to remember for years down the line when I have kids of my own, or something profound). I realized pretty quickly I'm going to have to invest in another blue pencil or two because more of the book is blue than not. Thank you to the person who gave this book to me and suggested I read it.
You know those books you pick up and you get soooo riveted to the story you just HAVE TO KNOW what happens next and pretty soon you realize it is 3 AM and you are supposed to wake up for work in three or four hours? If you've never experienced that, you need to read more often. If you HAVE done that before... you'll know what I'm talking about when I say that surprisingly, this book is like that for me.

Hey, did you finish that book? I might need to borrow it! :) Sounds good.
p.s. I told my mom she needs to get a blog. She also likes to write and has written some things. I told her she could put them on her blog for people to read. I might have her check out your blog. Is that okay?
